Hyperlinks to Secure Songs

These hyperlinks allow fans to play and/or download your SecureSongs directly from your website, MySpace page or an email. You can cut all of the songs from one album at a time. Then paste the the code on a web page devoted to your downloads.

These hyperlinks seem pretty long so here's a description of the different components and why they are important:

target="_blank" opens a new web browser window when the link is clicked. This keeps your web page open while the person visits the Austin Online Music page. This isn't necessary when linking to one of your SecureSongs.
img src directs the web browser to the directory where the image is located.
a href tells the web browser to expect a hyperlink to another web page.
putting the / after the hyperlink URL helps the web page load quicker.
text loads quicker than images (especially large ones) on a web page so defining the height and width of the image sets the alignment of the text relative to the image while the image is still loading.
the alt tag helps your search engine placement and helps people navigate who use a web browser that does not display graphics.
